Thanks for dropping by my corner of the internet; grab a chair and sit a spell. I have all sorts of things to share. Things I struggle with like fibromyalgia, my son’s learning disabilities and trying not to gain back lost weight. Things that make up my work like homeschooling, feeding my family and volunteering. Things I do for fun like biking, gardening and reading. Things I think about like politics and how to make the world a better place. All sorts of things that spark my desire to write.

Aww, I like that story. I'll wear pearls tomorrow too. I don't have any children, but I think the Girl Scouts is an excellent organization!
ReplyDeleteIt is a great story; Juliette's biography is an interesting read, too. She was from an impressive family; her uncle or grandfather (I read it a while ago so I can't remember the exact connection) founded Chicago. Yes, the very large city where Oprah lives. Her relatives also played a big part in the founding of Savannah. She was as close to royalty as we get in the U.S.!
